My research interests focus on self and identity. One area of research investigates the costs and benefits of accurate vs. biased views of the self, as well as methodological issues associated with assessing accuracy and bias in self-perception. Another area of research explores the content and structure of the self-concept, and how the self-concept is related to personality and social behavior.
