I am a graduate student working towards my Ph.D. in experimental social psychology with Professor Stephen Harkins. My research interests broadly focus on the effects of situational factors on task performance. Recently, I have been studying the process(es) which mediate the effects of stereotype threat on performance. I am currently involved in a molecular analysis of performance on the antisaccade task and GRE problems to better understand these processes that produce stereotype threat effects. Other areas of research in which I am interested include situational effects on athletic task performance and the effects of generalized arousal on test performance.
