I am a graduate student in Professor Yury Petrov’s laboratory working towards my PhD in Perception. I am generally interested in studying primary visual function in humans, like crowding and suppression, and its underlying physiological mechanisms. My final research goal is to understand low-level visual mechanisms in humans and build a computer model of primary visual system of humans. My research is based on psychophysical methods, EEG and fMRI. In addition, I am also interested in how visual functions relate to other cognitive tasks.
