Jennelle Yopchick
My research interests are centered on how people think about and perceive causal relations in the world around them. Specifically, I have been interested in how causal relations among symptoms of mental disorders affect mental disorder diagnoses as well as treatment choices for mental disorders. More recently I have begun to explore how a specific cause for a mental disorder symptom in a given client may influence how that client is diagnosed with a certain mental disorder. More generally, I am interested in how different causal structures affect decision making as well as how causal information may influence specific cognitive biases. |
