Resources > Peer Mentoring
Do you have questions about the psychology curriculum, the psychology department, faculty or related questions that you want to ask someone who has already been through the program? Are you struggling with or having problems adjusting to NU, or a particular class? Are you unsure whether you want to continue in this major? Do you want to talk to someone about career options in psychology? Would you like some advice or recommendations on choosing courses or co-op positions? Do you want to know how to get more involved in the academic and social life of the department? We're here to help. While some of these can be handled by the department’s faculty advisers, the department has also established a Peer Mentoring Program that is staffed and led by upper-level psychology majors who have been around and have experienced what you are feeling and dealing with. If you would like a peer to help you, contact the Mentor Program and give a brief description of what you would like help with, including either your e-mail address or telephone number and your academic year. Someone will get in touch with you soon. Contact:
